Naked Colour Protecting Shampoo & Conditioner Review

A great way to start switching your normal beauty products to natural and organic ones is by changing your shampoo and conditioner. You don't have to spend a lot of money on lots of new natural makeup or body care, but can get into the swing of using products which are better for you!

This is where Naked come in. Their shampoo and conditioner can be bought in Boots and cost £3.99 each. This is so affordable for natural beauty products that I had to buy some for myself when I saw them! I purchased the Colour Protecting Shampoo and Conditioner because I dye my hair and want to keep it in the best condition I can!

Naked is 97% natural, and as they state on their website and packaging, the last 3% is made up of preservatives and emulsifying agents to stop the products going off or separating. They do not use any nasties, such as Sulphates, Parabens and Petrochemicals. Their packaging is made from recycled plastic, their ingredients are ethically sourced and nothing is tested on animals.  Their products range from haircare and skincare providing something for everyone. They are doing everything you would hope from a natural beauty brand.

So how did I like the products?
I have very quickly become a fan of Naked! The shampoo smells lovely, I would not have expected myself to like the smell of cinnamon in my shampoo but I certainly do! It has a warm, comforting scent. When using the shampoo, I wash my hair twice to give it the best result. Because it is Sulphate free, the shampoo gives less lather, but it really does wash your hair just as well. My hair is left soft and very clean. The conditioner makes the ends of my hair feel smooth and tangle free. The products have definitely helped keep the dyed colour in my hair too. Another thing I have noticed since switching to the brand, is that less hair comes out when I wash it. I think the chemicals in other products are too harsh on my hair making it weaker.
I have found that one bottle will last me a long time. I can get at least 2 months of hair washing from one bottle. Even better is that the conditioner lasts twice as long.
I have been so happy with the results that I have since purchased many of their other products, and I can't wait to try some of their skincare line. I will be sure to review some of their other haircare products soon!

All in all I would recommend Naked products for you all to try. The items are all high quality at amazing prices, you get a lot for your money and it won't harm your skin in anyway! I really like what the brand has to offer and their ethos.

My overall rating for Naked Colour Protecting Shampoo & Conditioner: 8.5/10
